LessonPop

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

LessonPop turns a school lesson into a quiz for your child. We built it to collect as little as possible: no accounts, no names, no ads, no tracking. This page explains exactly what happens to your data.

LessonPop is made by 4SaveSoft (Vardarska 1B, 21000 Novi Sad, Serbia), which is responsible for your data (the "controller"). Contact: [email protected].

The short version

What happens when you make a quiz

  1. You photograph lesson pages or choose a PDF. The app sends the pages to our server, together with your child's school grade, the app language and the quiz settings (number and types of questions). The nickname is not sent.
  2. Our server reads the text (PDFs with text are read on our own server) and sends the lesson to Anthropic's Claude AI, which writes the questions.
  3. The quiz comes back to the app. The lesson pages are then deleted. They are processed in memory and are never stored on our server.

We keep the finished quiz (questions, answers, and the short lesson sentences each question is based on) so we can mark written answers later, for re-checks and practice.

When your child types a written answer, the question, the expected answer and your child's answer are sent to our server and to Claude to be marked. The answer is not stored.

Who else processes data

We only use services we need to run LessonPop:

When data goes to the USA, it is protected by safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Children

LessonPop is made for parents and guardians, who set it up, upload lessons and manage the subscription. Purchases and settings sit behind a grown-ups check.

We don't ask for a child's real name, photo, location or contact details. A lesson page can sometimes show a name or handwriting. If you prefer, cover the name before taking the photo. Either way, the pages are deleted as soon as the quiz is made.

Legal basis (EU/UK)

We process data to provide the service you asked for (contract), and to keep it secure and protect it from abuse (legitimate interests). We don't use consent-based tracking.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by writing to [email protected]. Because we don't know who you are, please tell us roughly when you started using LessonPop and, if you subscribed, the order ID from Apple's receipt email. This helps us find your family's data. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
